Check-in

Standard check-in time is 2:00PM.

Prior to check-in, the credit card used to book as well as identification matching the person and name the room was booked under must be sited by our Guest Services team.

That person must be present on arrival and must be staying at the property.

Any use of a third-party credit card must be pre-arranged with the property prior to arrival and written authority to use that third-party card must be provided.

Reception is open daily from 8am, 7 days.

For all arrivals outside this time please be sure to contact St Marks Randwick team to arrange after hours check-in arrangements.

Check-out

All guests must vacate their room by 10:00AM on their date of departure.

Departure after this time may incur additional charges. Late check-out under St Marks Randwick loyalty program is subject to availability and must be arranged prior to 9am on your day of departure.

Clean Atmosphere Policy

In accordance with Australian law, our properties have a strict non-smoking/ non-vaping policy.

Smoking or vaping is prohibited anywhere on our premises which is monitored by cctv 24 hours.

If you choose to ignore this policy we have a minimum $500 charge, plus additional costs associated with restoring the room to its original condition.

Damages + Incidentals 

St Marks Randwick has a min charge of $300 to damages incurred to all or part of the property which may affect the potential to re-sell a room upon check-out. It is understood that upon checking-in to St Marks Randwick you agree to such charges being taken upon check-out in covering such expense.

Please note that the following actions may activate the fire alarm in your hotel room: cooking, vaping, smoking, aerosol cans directed at the fire sensors, and leaving the bathroom door open while running the shower. If a guest activates the fire alarm system due to any of the above, there will be a minimum charge of $1500 billed back to the guest.

St Marks Randwick reserves the right to request guests depart the property whom display a lack of care, damage or disrupt the general atmosphere, guest experience and business reputation during their stay. This includes but is not limited to; smoking in house, in room breakages, drug/ alcohol consumption, property damages and/ or in causing unreasonable disruption to other guests.

Property Access

Guests must be 18 years or older, and if not, they must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Only persons registered with the hotel are permitted to access the hotel and rooms. We do not accept visitors.

We reserve the right to refuse service to any guest or invitee of a guest.

Lost Key Cards

Late access requests due to lost key cards will incur a minimum fee of $50 after hours. It is critical you keep your key card with you at all times, keeping in mind also when leaving your room to shared guest facilities.

Personal Items

We do not take responsibility for any loss, damage or destruction to any personal property brought onto these premises.

This property is covered by the Innkeepers Act 1968 in relation to any loss or damage to guest’s property. 

Personal property includes any personal effects and motor vehicles.

Transport and Parking 

Bicycle’s must not be brought into rooms. All bikes must be stored in the areas designated by reception only. Any bikes stored at the front of the property, will be removed to the street.

No Show Policy

Failure to arrive at the property on the booked check-in date will be treated as a no-show and the remainder of the booking will be cancelled. If you have booked a rate eligible for a refund, you will incur a charge for those nights which fall within 48 hours of cancellation. If you have booked any of the Non-Refundable Rates you will be charged the full cost of the booking.

Booking Modifications

For bookings made on all rate plans, modifications are subject to availability and any applicable charges. If a date change is possible, the originally booked nightly rate will be subject to change and a higher rate may apply.

The difference between fares may be required in confirming such changes.

New Year’s Eve

If any night falls between 29 December and 2 January (inclusive) your booking is fully pre-paid and non-refundable. Payment will be taken at the time of booking and modifications or cancellation are not allowed.

Payment Policy

Prior to check-in, the valid credit card that was used to secure the reservation will need to be sighted by our reception team. This will be requested along with matching photo identification of the cardholder, and guest checking-in. We accept a current driver licence, proof of age card or valid passport.

For guests unable to present both a matching credit card and photo identification we reserve the right to decline check-in and access to St Marks Randwick.

Visa / MasterCard / AMEX incur a 1.5% surcharge per transaction.

We reserve the right to charge and/ or pre-authorise your credit card at any time after the booking is made, for any amount, but not more than the total amount of your booking, including any extras. The purpose of the credit card pre-authorisation is to securely guarantee funds for accommodation and incidental charges.

If a transaction is declined, we will request a new credit card number be provided. The new credit card must be in the same name as the booking. If it is not in the same name as the booking, an authority to charge form will need to be completed pursuant to our third-party payment terms. If no new card is provided within 48 hours of us notifying you, we reserve the right to cancel the booking. If any new card provided is declined, we reserve the right to cancel your booking with no further notice.

Refund Policy

In the event of a refund, the amount refunded will be in the same form of payment method that was used to pay for the original booking. For any credit card refunds, the refund must apply to the same credit card as the original transaction in order to comply with the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006.

Program Operations

The Program is operated by St Marks Randwick brand (proprietor: Macleay Holdings Pty Ltd), 37 Rae St, Randwick NSW 2031.

Membership

Program membership is available to individuals (“you”) as stated in these terms and conditions. Only one membership can be maintained by you at any time. Membership is not open to companies or other entities. Membership is free, however a valid email address, first and last name must be given on sign-up at the hotel, or any other location that registration might take place.

Availability

St Marks Randwick reserves the right to suspend, restrict or discontinue this Program outside of 30 days’ written notice to all registered members. In the event that the Program is suspended, restricted or discontinued, benefits for all previous reservations made before the official census date will be honoured by the participating hotel.

Terms and Conditions Changes

St Marks Randwick reserves the right to change, amend or cancel any benefits and/or rewards offered by the Program at any time. In the event that conditions are altered, benefits valid at the time of booking may not be valid under the new terms and conditions.

Data Privacy

By applying for and/or obtaining membership for the Program, or by exercising benefits offered by the Program, you explicitly authorise that your personal information given on registration or during the course of your stay at St Marks Randwick, will be processed and shared within The Macleay Group.

Right of Access to Data

You have the right to access your personal data held in our system at any time. The access must be requested in the form of a written enquiry to St Marks Randwick premise.

Benefits

The benefits offered by the Program are only applicable once for each separate booking made by a member of the Program. Benefits cannot be redeemed for cash or future credit of any amount. Benefits cannot be accrued and are only valid under these terms and conditions for each individual booking separately. Benefits offered by the program are:

Benefit Conditions

The benefits obtained by you under the Program hold their own specific terms, conditions and interpretations. The instant discount off online rates refers to room charges only and excludes any additional costs incurred during your stay including, but not limited to, room cleaning services and/or cancellation charges. The instant discount is only valid when a booking is made on www.stmarksrandwick.com and the promo code is entered during the booking process; or by phoning the property direct and quoting the promo code. Free wireless internet is valid at St Marks Randwick. The best rate guarantee does not apply to package deals or mystery hotel deals on the websites that support this booking method. The lower rate must not be affected by any style of loyalty program including corporate negotiated rates and/or any reward redemption bookings and must still be visible and available at the time of your call. If a best rate guarantee claim does not satisfy the required terms above, the original cancellation policy you booked under will apply to the booking should you wish to keep it. Late check-out time is 12pm. No booking fees include credit card surcharges, which may apply to your booking.

Interpretation

Interpretation of the Program terms and conditions is at the sole discretion of St Marks Randwick. St Marks Randwick reserves the right to add, modify or delete any terms, benefits and/or conditions at any time.
